Information Collection

In order to provide and continually improve our API services, we need to collect certain information from you. This data is integral to our ability to deliver effective and personalized services. We are committed to minimizing data collection to only what is necessary. Below is a description of the types of data we collect:

  1. User Identity Information: When you register for our service, we collect your name, email address, and organization name. This allows us to create your account, provide access to our services, and communicate with you.
  2. Authentication Data: In order to ensure secure access to our API, we generate and store a unique API key tied to your account. This key is necessary for authenticating API requests.
  3. Billing Information: To process payments for our services, we collect necessary billing information. However, we do not directly handle or store your sensitive payment data like credit card information. Instead, we use a secure, third-party payment processor.
  4. Usage Information: We log information about how and when you use our API service, including the time, frequency, volume, hardware, and model(s) used to fulfill your API requests. This data helps us understand your usage patterns, plan for capacity, ensure fair usage, and calculate billing.
  5. Input Prompts and Generated LLM Responses: We receive your input prompt, route it to the optimal LLM, generate a response, send it directly to you, and then immediately discard it. We do not store the prompts you send, or the generated LLM responses, unless explicitly agreed upon for the purpose of troubleshooting or improving our service.

Data Sharing

We understand the importance of your privacy and are committed to maintaining the confidentiality of your information. Here's how and why we might share your data:

  1. Service Providers: To help us provide and improve our services, we may share your data with third-party service providers. For example, we use a payment processing service to handle billing transactions. These service providers have access to your data only to perform tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose it or use it for any other purposes.
  2. Legal Obligations: In certain situations, we may be required to share your data in response to lawful requests by public authorities, including to meet national security or law enforcement requirements.
  3. Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, bankruptcy, dissolution, reorganization, or similar transaction or proceeding, we may transfer your information to a successor or affiliate or a buyer of assets.

Except for the reasons listed above, we will not share your personal information with any other third parties without your explicit consent unless required to do so by law.

We require all third parties to respect the security of your personal data and to treat it in accordance with the law. We do not allow our third-party service providers to use your personal data for their own purposes and only permit them to process your personal data for specified purposes and in accordance with our instructions.
